You can have a free website online. You will not own the “rights” to the website but you can use this website to sell items in marketing. Here are some suggestions to where you can get a free website:
http://blogger.com – Owned by Google and they love them.
http://weebly.com – Great for your very first site, looks more like a website and not a blog
http://tumblr.com Great free site, not a blog
http://wordpress.com – Unless you have your own host this blog will not be owned by you and they do not allow affiliate links.
http://squidoo.com – Used by many marketers
With all of these free sites you will get to choose part of the url. You may even use your own Domain in Blogger.com but you do not have to. Choose a keyword rich title to help with traffic.

The easiest way to make money online in my opinion is with Amazon. Register with Amazon here. They have 10,000 more products than ebay, they are more trusted than ebay and ebay is not really accepting new affiliates anyway. You should really get a website host and your own blog or (store would be even better) that you own so that you will own the site. Free blogs are nice but they are not reliable and they are not yours. Amazon converts very well even though they only have a 24 hour cookie. The reason is because customers usually buy immediately and they dont have to wait for an auction to end. If they put anything in their shopping cart with your cookie you will get comission and that cookie lasts for 90 days.

Installing Wordpress Blog Tutorial V

Now, if you have purchased your domain and hosting provider, in a few days you should be able to type in your domain name and see a site that only says “index”. (This may take several days)
After your domain propogates, you can type http://yourdomainname.com/cpanel and enter your username and password. Then you will go into “Fantastico”
Inside Fantastico “click on Wordpress”
Next you will enter where you want your wordpress blog to be. If you want it to be at the root of your domain then choose your domain name in the first box with NOTHING in the second box.
Enter All usernames and passwords you wish and click install:
Then you will be prompted to enter an email address with all account information.
