8 Steps in Wealthy Affiliate

The Basic Introduction to Affiliate Marketing:

This will introduce you to the beginner course available at WA.  There is so much information that they have a “panic” button in case you are overwhelmed.  they have a beginner, junior, and senior course.

Ive been a marketing for over a year and I am constantly learning new things.  That is why I keep my membership.  I dont want to be the one who is not learning the latest tricks

If you are just starting then Please do not try to rush yourself.  You need a step by step plan.  Baby steps will lead you there!

I cannot stress enough that you are going to need this stuff fed to you from a spoon.  There is so much to learn and even the basics may seem overwhelming at first.  If you have been searching online you have probably ran into a lot of ebooks and videos and tutorials that your head is spinning!

I have a friend that paid $250 to learn internet marketing from something she saw on CNN.  They did a special on how this company could show you how to make a lot of money online and they confirmed it was true.  When she saw that on the news she went through their training after paying $250 to learn ONLY the basics.  When she told me what she learned I was surprised.  $250 is a lot of money.  For that much money you could get advanced training at WA for half a year.

After they provided her with their training she was left confused and found me through my friend.  We met and talked about all that Ive learned and it took 3 hours just to cover the basics.  Even though she is my friend and I can “try” to explain how to market just like I do on this blog, it is so much easier to have wealthy affiliate where the information is given to you in a way that is easy to digest.

Step 1 Week 1

They cover the basic introduction and tell you to

Register in the forum, and introduce yourself to the community!
Work your way through the forum reading as many sticky posts as you can
Review the $500 Forum challenge posts
Setup a a WA Space account w/ details about yourself. You’ll need this down the road.
Make yourself familiar with the Learning Resources section in the main menu
We want you to make at least 3 posts in the forum this week. An introduction is one… Two more!

Week 2

They are going to explain more on how affiliate marketing works and how you need to “become the customer”  hey, people go to college to learn how to market!  There are ways to get the sale, tips and tricks that you will learn.  They ask you to choose a direction and pick a market that you want to target.  They help you understand the sales process and get your first article out there.

Week 3

Week 3 in WA they are going to explain how to “Research”!! This is a Very important step.  I spend 80% of my time researching and 20% of my time “working”.  The smarter you work and the more you understand your market, the easier it is to make a sale.

Keyword tutorials another Extremely important step and this takes time to learn.  Dont rush!

The “WHY” of marketing.

Why do people want to lose weight?
Why do people want Voice Over IP?
Why do people want to make a lot of money?
Why do people want to quit smoking?
Why do people want a better education?
Why do people want to train their dog?
Why do people want to be Internet marketers?
Why do people want to get a loan?

They teach you how to become the customer

“If you can answer the “WHY” within any industry, you will be able to put together a targeted campaign that will be consumer focused. You will also find that there are several answers within any particular industry, and this is where you can start catering to smaller audiences or niche markets.”

Relevance Really Does Equal MONEY – Find your target audience and connect them to a product

Week 4 in WA

Website Development and Landing pages!

Is this what is holding you back?  Building a website these days is not as hard as it used to be!

WA covers Everything you need to know about domains, hosting, and site builders.  They also provide everything you need.

Week 5

Managing your campaigns and building your network.  Campaign examples, most common mistakes, and how to create a long term, steady income.

Week 6

Email marketing and building long relationships with customers.  There is a lot of information so don’t get overwhelmed!

Week 7

Analyzing and testing

You can track your links with their software so you will have a better idea of what performs the best, and which ones are working for you.  You wouldnt want to keep wasting your time putting links that are not returning profit.  They explain CTR and of course go into detail about PPC.

Week 8

Treating this as a business!  I just realized I need to reread this section!  I guess this is my “business” now   It really is fun, I guess that is why I have stayed up late writing this.

I found out not too long ago just how lucrative it is to have a “space” of your own on the web.  There are people buying “networks” which is large networks of websites that make consistent money.  What does this mean for you?  If you have a network of several sites making consistent money you can sell it for huge profits.  Millions of dollars.

It may seem far off now but after you are in WA you will see how many people are having success and as long as you stay motivated and have “fun” doing this, you will make money.  Then you rinse and repeat!

There is a lot more to WA than those 8 steps because that was only the Junior Level.  They have advanced levels, and senior levels.  They also provide ebooks and a wonderful forum.  There is a share zone and I love that because there you can get tutorials from the members who love to share.
