Simply Google “free wordpress blog” and pick the one you like. In order to install your blog you will need your FTP account. You can get one at http://filezilla-project.org/
I encourage you to contact Hostgator so you do not have any problems installing your WordPress blog. This is easy though and after the first couple of times you will be able to do this yourself.
