When you are looking for a niche it really helps when you know what the most popular items are.  Up until now for ebay niches you had to go to ebay popular and it only gave the top 100 searches.  With a new section to whats-hot-weekly.com you can see the most searched items on ebay this is located at http://whats-hot-weekly.com/MostSearched.php

When I am looking for a niche I always choose the ones that are popular, why?  I can ALWAYS find good keywords for the most searched items.  Maybe someone told you you need a niche that is unpopular and obscure, I have to disagree!

I make the most money on items that everyone wants.  These items have more long tailed keyword phrases and that means I have a better opportunity to have my share of profits :)
